The Arboretum of South Barrington invites you to its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony & Parade… a spectacular kickoff to the holiday season featuring a breathtaking 40+ foot tree and a state-of-the-art light and music show that will leave you in awe!

Holiday Parade

The evening begins with a festive parade down Main Street at 5 PM, featuring Santa, stilt walkers, dancing elves, the Gingerbread Man, The Grinch, and more beloved holiday characters… all ending in Main Street Plaza for the grand finale. Stay for our holiday dance party in Main Street Plaza after the tree is lit!

Live Stage Performances

Enjoy live music from incredible local talent: Dave Mikulskis (Hi Infidelity), Pino Farina, Courtney Juric (Country), and Josh Scholl (Radio GAGA).

Wickstrom Auto Group Holiday Tent

Step inside for family fun with balloon artists, face painters, strolling magicians, and festive holiday tunes!

After the parade, take photos and share magical moments with your favorite Christmas characters.

Tree Lighting & Dance Party

Join Tina Bree from Star 105.5 as we light The Arb’s spectacular holiday tree, followed by a Ready-Set-Dance holiday dance party in Main Street Plaza!
